About Me

Having initially achieved a Post Graduate diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling at the School of Psychology and Psychotherapy at Regent’s University London, I decided to further my training and was awarded an Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy from the same institution.

Before setting up my private practice I worked for eight years as a counsellor and psychotherapist for two mental health charities based in Cambridge (Lifecraft and the Cogwheel Trust).

Before embarking upon a psychotherapy training I had different careers. I studied languages as well as sociology at Sorbonne University in Paris. I worked for several years in the field of applied sociological research in France and Italy and was also for six years a language teacher in Germany and in England. Such life experiences raised questions about identity, sense of belonging and how to respond to the challenges of living in a new societal and cultural context. Although such life adjustments can be difficult at times, they can be opportunities for creating new spaces where we can learn about ourselves and grow.

I am a registered member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), no 2011183757. I abide by and I am fully committed to its code of ethics and professional conduct. As part of good practice my clinical work is supervised by a qualified supervisor and  I maintain regular commitments  to professional development  for the benefit of my work with clients and for my personal enrichment.

I am also a member of the  British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP),

no 00969876, and of the Society of Existential Analysis.
